Taskee

Terms of Service

These terms set out the rights and obligations that come with using the Taskee app ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. Last updated: 9 August 2026.

1. What the app does

The app provides study planning, study time tracking, to-dos, a photo diary, D-Days and study rooms. Signing in is optional and every feature works without it. Signing in keeps your records in your account so you can pick them up on another device.

2. Accounts

You can sign in with an Apple or Google account. You may sign out or delete your account at any time from the Settings screen; deleting your account permanently removes it along with every record and photo stored on the server.

3. Study rooms and what they show

Joining a study room shows the other members your profile name and your total study time for that day. Photos are not shared by default and appear only in rooms where you switched "Share today’s photo" on. Whoever created a room can delete it, which removes it for every member. Any member can leave a room at any time.

4. Prohibited conduct (zero tolerance)

The following are not allowed in study rooms, without exception: harassment, threats, discrimination or abuse directed at anyone; sexually explicit or violent images or language; spam, advertising or fraud; posting someone else’s personal information or copyrighted work without permission; and impersonating another person. Where a violation is confirmed we remove the content and may restrict your use of the service or terminate your account.

5. Reporting and blocking

You can report an inappropriate room or member from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours and take the action required, including removing content and restricting accounts. You can also block a member, after which their name, study time and photos are no longer shown to you.

6. Responsibility for what you post

You are responsible for the content you provide, including room names, your profile name and any photo you share. Sharing a photo makes it visible to the members of that room, and the decision to share is yours.

7. Device permissions

The app may ask for camera and photo library access so you can attach photos to your diary and planner. Permission is requested only when you use those features, and declining leaves everything else working.

8. Minimum age for an account

Accounts are available from the age of 14. The app itself works fully without one.

9. Changes to and withdrawal of the service

The service may change as it is improved, and significant changes are announced in the app beforehand. If all or part of it is withdrawn, at least 30 days notice is given, with time for you to export or move your records.

10. Limitation of liability

The app is currently free and is a tool for keeping study records; it does not guarantee any learning outcome. No liability is accepted for loss arising from causes outside the developer’s control, such as natural disasters, network failures or problems with your own device.

Records held only on a device cannot be recovered if the app is deleted or the device is lost — sign in to keep them in your account. Nothing in this section excludes liability for the developer’s wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes arising from use of the service are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

12. Contact

For any question, including the outcome of a report, contact studyplanner1210@gmail.com.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the service develops or the law requires. Significant changes will be announced in the app and reflected in the date at the top of this screen.
