Privacy Policy

1. Using the app without an account

Signing in is optional, and every feature works without it. In that case your subjects, study time, tasks, goal and reflection notes, photo diary, D-Days, profile name and picture, and your language and appearance settings are stored only on your device and are not sent anywhere.

2. What is stored on the server once you sign in

When you sign in so your records follow you between devices, the records listed in section 1 — subjects, study time, tasks, goal and reflection notes, D-Days and photo diary entries — together with your profile name are stored in a database operated by Supabase Inc. The photo files themselves are kept on the server for the same purpose. They are readable by you alone and are never shown to another user. To identify your account we receive and store an identifier and email address from Apple or Google, and your name on the first sign-in only. If you choose Apple’s Hide My Email, the relay address Apple issues is stored instead of your real one.

3. What a study room shows other people

When you join a study room, the other members see your profile name and your total study time for that day. Your photo diary is not shared by default: a day’s photo is only visible to a room where you have switched "Share today’s photo" on for that room. Sharing uploads a separate, downscaled copy — never the original — and switching sharing off deletes that copy from the server. A shared photo is readable only by members of that room: each viewing is checked and issued a link that expires shortly after. Your task text, goal and reflection notes, to-dos and per-subject detail are never visible to anyone else under any circumstances.

4. Reports and blocks

Reporting a room name or a member stores the reporter’s identifier, what was reported, the reason and the time, and we review it within 24 hours. Blocking someone stores that relationship; their name, study time and photos stop being shown to you. The person you block is not told. Unblocking them deletes that record immediately.

5. Processors and international transfer

Supabase Inc. (United States) processes server storage and authentication on our behalf. The database and files are held in the Seoul region, but as the processor is based abroad the data may be accessed from outside Korea in the course of operating the service.

Resend, Inc. (United States) delivers the notification we send ourselves when a report is filed. That message contains the profile names of the reporter and the reported person, the reason, and any description the reporter wrote. Recipient: Resend, Inc. / Country: United States / Purpose: acting on reports promptly / Retention: deleted once delivered.

Apple Inc. (United States) and Google LLC (United States) provide the sign-in services and supply an identifier and email address. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for advertising.

6. Analytics and advertising

The app uses no analytics tools, no advertising SDKs and no tracking technologies.

7. Retention and deletion

Information is kept until you delete it or delete your account. Choosing account deletion on the Settings screen permanently removes your account and every record and photo stored on the server, immediately and irreversibly. Signing out clears the copy held on your device but leaves the records on the server, and signing back in to the same account restores them. Deleting the app removes what is on the device; what is on the server is kept until you delete your account.

8. Camera and photo library

Permission is requested only when you take a photo or pick one from your library. The photo you choose is stored on your device and, while you are signed in, is also kept on the server so it follows you between devices, as described in section 2. Only you can read it. It becomes visible to anyone else only where you have switched sharing on, as described in section 3.

9. Children under 14

Creating an account asks for your year of birth, and accounts are not available under the age of 14. That year is used only for this check: it stays on the device and is never sent to the server.

The app works fully without an account, and in that case no personal information is collected at all. If we learn that we hold information from a child under 14, we delete it immediately.

10. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a halt to the processing of your information. You can edit it in the app directly or remove it by deleting your account; for anything else, use the contact below.
